OUR SERVICES

We have six spacious bedrooms each with its own private bathroom. Our eat-in kitchen is a large open concept space, fully stocked with food items and all the gadgets and appliances you could need. We have a "break room" on the second floor for moms who may have middle of the night feedings with little ones. 

Toddlers and youngers kids will have an awesome time in our large play area which is equipped with numerous toys and craft supplies including a child-size gathering drum. There is an adjacent sitting room where mom can relax, read or work on a puzzle while still being able to keep an eye on her little ones. 

Off of the kitchen we have a library/homework room equipped with computers and internet access to assist with school work or job searches or whatever your online needs may be. 

Gender Based Violence Program. 

The Child and Family Violence Prevention Services Program provides support, advocacy, and case management services to women, 2 spirit identifying individuals and families who have been impacted by domestic and family violence. Operating within an Indigenous-led women's shelter, the program focuses on enhancing safety, promoting healing, and strengthening family well-being through a culturally responsive and trauma-informed approach.

Services include safety planning, referrals, system navigation, advocacy and individualized support tailored to the unique needs of each resident. The program also offers workshops, educational sessions, and prevention initiatives that address topics such as healthy relationships, parenting, life skills, emotional wellness, and violence prevention. Through collaboration with community partners and service providers, the program works to reduce barriers, increase access to resources, and support positive outcomes for Indigenous women, 2 Spirited, children, and families.
